As we all here at United States Health mourn the (millions of deaths because of our greed) senseless death of our heroic colleague who bravely (made roughly 10 million dollars a year) looked out for our many clients. We take a step back and look closely at how the Health Care System (gives us the freedom to live comfortably and travel to exotic destinations) is very flawed and hurts Americans.
As I sit here (in my safe and cozy bubble) in pain thinking of those who suffer, my assistant reminded me of the many lives impacted by decisions made by my friend and colleague, Bryce, that apparently had an ick affect on others. As soon as my second assistant gave this message from the first assistant to me, I realized how out of touch (I am to those who don’t know me) people who work below me are when it comes to this system and they need to be called out. It’s important to honor his memory and remind people by saying, (“Aww man, he was trying so hard,” and “What a huge loss of someone who made clear it wasn’t about any other lives but his own but good God he had people in his life too!”) “He was aware how flawed things were and did what he could to help.”
Health care is both intensely complicated and (very lucrative for us) very personal, and the reasons behind coverage decisions are (exactly how we want them) not well understood. We (take no responsibility) share some of the responsibility for that. Together with employers, governments and others who pay for care, we need to (let this all die down a bit) make changes to improve how we explain what insurance covers and how decisions are made. Behind each decision lies a comprehensive and continually updated (clusterfuck that we don’t give two shits about) body of clinical evidence focused on achieving how easy it is to (not only pocket millions, but fuck with people) have the best health outcomes ensuring patient safety.
While the health system is (the easiest money to make off of others pain) not perfect, every corner of it is filled with (the absolute worst that you have no idea about who are literally making millions while you suffer) people who try to do their best for those they serve.
When a colleague proposed a new idea to Bryce, he would always ask, (“What’s in it for me? Don’t waste my fucking time until you let me know how I can profit and look like I’m helping.”) “Oh gosh, how can I help make this happen?” That’s the type of person he (fooled people into believing) was (just to get them to stop talking) and who we are.
This op-ed was very important because (we’re fucking terrified so we need to give off a false sense of empathy when our actions speak louder than anything else) we want all Americans to be safe and well.
